Building a Brighter Future Together

MAC Construction has been a committed corporate partner since 2021. From their very first meeting, it was clear that Managing Director Billy shared Wigan Youth Zone’s mission to inspire, support, and empower young people across Wigan and Leigh. This shared vision laid the foundations for a partnership that has continued to grow stronger over time.

Billy’s dedication, both professionally and personally, has been instrumental in supporting Wigan Youth Zone’s work. He has played a vital role in fundraising events and campaigns, helping to ensure the Youth Zone can continue to deliver over 100 activities and targeted programmes for local young people. Beyond raising essential funds, Billy has helped introduce Wigan Youth Zone to new supporters and partners, expanding its network and increasing its reach so that even more young people can benefit from its services.

MAC Construction’s support goes far beyond financial contributions. Under Billy’s leadership, the entire team at MAC Construction has been hands-on in helping the charity. They have supported the facilities team with essential repairs and donated materials for maintenance projects, saving valuable resources that can be invested back into youth services. The company has also been a fantastic supporter of Wigan Youth Zone’s employability programme, offering young people direct insight into careers in construction and helping to bridge the gap between entry-level roles and leadership opportunities.

 

Billy’s commitment also extends to Wigan Youth Zone’s future sustainability. As a member of the charity’s Development Committee, he has generously given his time and expertise to help shape strategy and introduce the Youth Zone to new supporters, ensuring its mission can continue for years to come.
