Join Us for a Junior Open Evening at Leigh Youth Hub
We’re excited to invite young people aged 8–10 and their parents or guardians to a special Junior Open Evening at Leigh Youth Hub on Monday 7th July from 4:30pm to 6pm.
This free event is a great opportunity for families to come and explore everything Leigh Youth Hub has to offer. There’ll be activities running in the common room, kitchen, sensory room and more – plus building tours and information stalls where you can find out all about our free weekly sessions.
Whether you’re already familiar with the Hub or brand new to it, this is the perfect chance to get a feel for the space, meet the team, and see how your child could benefit from the sessions on offe
About Our Partnership
Our partnership with Leigh Youth Hub is all about creating more opportunities for young people across the borough. For the past two years, our dedicated Youth Workers have been working alongside LYH to grow its offer, introducing Mix It Up Mondays alongside the already popular Thursday sessions.
These weekly sessions are designed to give young people a space to socialise, learn new skills, and have fun – with everything from gaming and karaoke to arts & crafts, tabletop challenges, and more. There’s also junior football with Wigan Athletic Community Trust and free gym access for senior members.
By working together, we’re not only expanding what’s available locally, but making sure that young people in Leigh feel supported, connected, and inspired.
Free Sessions
All sessions at Leigh Youth Hub, including those run in partnership with Wigan Youth Zone, are completely free to access.
