GHE have officially strengthened their long-standing partnership with Wigan Youth Zone, highlighting the incredible charity patron opportunities in Wigan that help change young people’s lives.
After nearly two years of dedicated support, GHE have stepped up to become Platinum Patrons, further cementing their commitment to young people across Wigan and Leigh.
Their support reaches far beyond a financial contribution. GHE play a crucial role in helping us maintain our 110,000 sq ft Youth Zone — support that is vital to keeping the doors open 7 days a week. From electrical needs to ongoing building maintenance, GHE’s expertise ensures our young people have a safe, warm and inspiring space to call their own.
This year, GHE also joined forces with us for our hugely successful Sportsman’s Dinner alongside long-time Youth Zone supporter, Matty Peet. The event raised over £5,000 for Wigan Youth Zone and In Memory of Baby G — a charity close to their hearts. Over the past 12 months, our partnership has flourished into something truly special, showing just what can be achieved when two organisations share the same values and passion.
"For the past two years, we’ve been proud patrons of Wigan Youth Zone, and our partnership has continued to flourish. Working closely with the fundraising team, we’ve helped generate vital income to support young people across the borough. Choosing to increase our support was an easy decision; we wanted to do more, and we could make that happen. The work they do to empower young people… is truly inspiring. We are proud to play our part."

"We are incredibly grateful to GHE for their ongoing support and for taking their commitment to the next level. Their partnership allows us to maintain our building, run life-changing programs, and create opportunities for young people across Wigan and Leigh. GHE’s dedication is helping us shape brighter futures every day."
