The halls at Wigan Youth Zone echoed with laughter and joy as our juniors had an absolute ball at their Christmas party! With the sincere aim of creating the most enjoyable and meaningful Christmas for everyone, we strived to ensure you had the best Christmas ever with Wigan Youth Zone.
Our planning involved curating a month-long festival of activities suitable for all – whether you’re into music, sports, art, or games, we had something for everyone. Recognising that Christmas can be a challenging time for many families in Wigan and Leigh, our passionate staff and volunteers organised a month of festive activities, including the ‘WYZMAS’ market, Christmas party, Holiday Club, and Santa’s grotto, all designed to get young people into the holiday spirit.
On December 16th, it was time to gear up for the SNOW BALL. Juniors were invited to join the festivities from 11 am to 3 pm, while seniors had their exclusive celebration from 4 pm to 9 pm. The event promised an array of festive delights, including epic snowball fights, jamming live music, cool DJ sets, artsy Christmas crafts, bouncy giant inflatables, whimsical face paints, sparkling winter face glitter, a hilarious giant pie face, games galore with prizes to be won, and the option to sip on delightful snowball mocktails.
As everyone donned their best festive gear, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation. The Youth Zone transformed into a winter wonderland, where every corner was filled with the magic of the season. From the heartwarming activities to the lively competitions, it was a holiday celebration like no other.
Wigan Youth Zone’s commitment to spreading happiness and cheer during the holidays was met with resounding success.
