WYZ Engaging with More Young People with Disabilities through Get Out Get Active Project
In collaboration with Wigan Council and Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles, Wigan Youth Zone is one of three hubs in Wigan running the Get Out Get Active (GOGA) programme. The programme is designed to engage young people with disabilities in sport and break down the barriers of mainstream and disabled young people to be supported from sports staff in any activities they wish with Wigan Youth Zone.
Our GOGA sessions are as follows;
6pm – 6.40pm Multi Sport session (Sports Hall)
6.40pm – 7.20pm Gym session (Gym)
7.20pm – 8pm Open Sports session (this session allows young people to be supported from sports staff in any activities they wish with the YZ.
6pm – 6.40pm Climbing (climbing wall)
6.40pm – 7.20pm Dance + Tumbling session (dance studio)
7.20pm – 8pm Multi-Sport session (sports hall)
