It’s a lucky 7 as Lines Henry Limited raises over £7000 for Wigan Youth Zone.
Wigan Youth Zone’s first fundraiser of the year was hosted by Lines Henry Limited at DW Stadium, Wigan. The fundraiser witnessed over 250 bingo fanatics play bingo with a surprise, all for a good cause.
Boogie Bingo is an astounding combination of a partying, live show and a serious game of bingo that took place at the DW stadium. The event is very much bingo at the core of the night however with a twist, players are plunged into an eccentric few hours of pure escapism including dance-offs, Love Train, Conga, Raffle, and some silly prizes.
Although Danny Lowry from Danny Lowry Entertainment [the frontman of Boogie Bingo] provided some outrageous prizes such as life-size cardboard cut out of Mr. Bean; over 25 local businesses of Wigan and Leigh donated some incredible prizes for the Bingo and Raffle. Prizes included a trip to Snowdonia Adventure Park courtesy of Martin Ainscough along with 4 tickets to watch any Wigan Warriors Game courtesy of Wigan Warriors.
Lines Henry Limited said “Since opening an additional office in Wigan nearly six years ago, Lines Henry Limited has been more than happy to support several local charities in the area. As one of our Directors, Lisa McAllister, became a member of the board of the Wigan Youth Zone in April 2019, we were more than happy to support this brand new event on the Wigan Youth Zone event calendar.”
Of the event itself, Lisa McAllister said, “A very big thank you to all who came along and supported us at this event, we hope every one of you had a fantastic evening. A very special thank you to Jackie Salt of Attain, Sarah Hodgson of Santander and Lynsey Kendal, Head of Fundraising at Wigan Youth Zone for giving up their Saturday night to make the event what it was and to all who donated bingo/raffle prizes, we could not have raised just over £7,000 without you!!”
